A Fort Worth man is nearly $1 million richer after winning a Texas Lottery scratch-off ticket game.
George West bought the winning ticket at the Lucky No. 7 Food Market on Country Club Lane, according to a statement from the lottery.
The top prize is $1,000 per week or a lump sum, and West chose the lump sum payment for a total of $828,090.60.
For selling the winning ticket, the Food Mart is eligible for a $10,000 retailer bonus.
