DeSoto ISD is hosting a Male Leadership Symposium for students in grades six through 12 and fathers May 2 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at DeSoto High School as part of their Blueprint for Greatness day.
A Blueprint for Greatness is designed to provide content to male, minority students for development in leadership, college readiness, community development, social justice issues and STEM careers. The event will include keynote speakers along with a professional athlete panel and social justice panel.
Guest speakers include Lamman Rucker, Terrence J, Tommy Ford, Trey Cheney, Dr. Adolf Brown, Pastor Brian Carter, Devin Wyman, Gary Hamilton, Commissioner John Wiley Price, and Judge Rideaux.
DeSoto High School is located at 600 Eagle Drive.
