PGBT Overpass to DNT Reopens After Plywood Spill

The northbound ramp onto the Dallas North Tollway from eastbound President George Bush Turnpike has reopened after a flatbed truck overturned Tuesday, spilling a load of plywood.[[291427691,L]]

Police say the 18-wheeler was traveling on the ramp when it lost its load at about 1 p.m.

Pieces of plywood were scattered across the highest overpass, on a bridge support column and onto an overpass below.

North Texas Tollway Authority officials said the main lanes of the tollway and turnpike were reopened and traffic was improving, but still slow.

No injuries were reported.
