MEN FAIL TO STEAL ATM FROM BEER STORE
Investigators are looking into an attempted ATM theft in Grand Prairie.  At about 4 a.m. Monday, officers responded to call at Doc's Beer and Wine on the 3000 block of Claremont Drive to find the door ripped off the building. A review of the surveillance video showed two men in a maroon van attempting to steal an ATM from the business.  The men failed and fled the scene, leaving behind some of their tools and hopefully a few fingerprints.   

WOMAN WITH "NO ENGLISH" TICKET FILES COMPLAINT
A Dallas woman who was ticketed for being a non-English-speaking driver is calling for an internal investigation. Ernestina Mondragon was pulled over Oct. 2 on a traffic stop and cited for not speaking English in addition to two other traffic violations. She and her attorney say they are filing a complaint with the department. Click here to read this story on NBCDFW.com.

18-YEAR-OLD KILLED IN WRONG WAY CRASH
An 18-year-old man was killed in a wrong-way crash in Arlington after he hit a Hummer early Sunday morning, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported. Police said Gamaliel Javier Soto was driving the wrong way in his Honda Accord on Matlock Road at about 3 a.m. The six people in the Hummer were taken to Fort Worth hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

3 KILLED, 1 INJURED IN UNRELATED DALLAS INCIDENTS
Dallas police said three people were killed and one person received life-threatening injuries in four unrelated cases this weekend. Police are looking for two men for the shooting death of 30-year-old Juan Cantu, of Dallas, Friday night at about 6:50 p.m. Two hours later, 32-year-old Teresa Escamilla, of Arlington, was slain when someone in a pickup truck shot into her car as she sat parked. Then an unidentified 25-year-old man was wounded at about 11:30 p.m. after he was shot following a fight at a private party that spilled into a parking lot. Later Shawn Henderson, 28, of Dallas, was found fatally stabbed about 1:20 a.m. Saturday at an apartment.
