Here's a daily list of recent activities drawing the attention of North Texas law enforcement. List compiled on Oct. 25-26, 2009.

Investigators are looking into an attempted ATM theft in Grand Prairie.  At about 4 a.m. Monday, officers responded to call at Doc's Beer and Wine on the 3000 block of Claremont Drive to find the door ripped off the building. A review of the surveillance video showed two men in a maroon van attempting to steal an ATM from the business.  The men failed and fled the scene, leaving behind some of their tools and hopefully a few fingerprints.

A Dallas woman who was ticketed for being a non-English-speaking driver is calling for an internal investigation. Ernestina Mondragon was pulled over Oct. 2 on a traffic stop and cited for not speaking English in addition to two other traffic violations. She and her attorney say they are filing a complaint with the department. Click here to read this story on NBCDFW.com.
