American Airlines Flight Diverted to Chicago After Threat

A cross-country American Airlines flight was diverted Monday evening after an unspecified threat was made against the aircraft.

Flight 117 from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York was flying to Los Angeles International Airport when the flight crew landed at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport at about 5:15 p.m. CST.
