A cross-country American Airlines flight was diverted Monday evening after an unspecified threat was made against the aircraft.
Flight 117 from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York was flying to Los Angeles International Airport when the flight crew landed at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport at about 5:15 p.m. CST.
Further details, including the nature of the threat, have not been released, but the aircraft continued to Los Angeles after about a two-hour delay in Chicago.
