A boat wreck ended a day at the lake for a group of boaters on Lake Arlington Saturday afternoon.[[322603802,R]]
The group of four told NBCDFW they were heading up a waterway near Loop 820 when the canopy of their boat was caught by low-hanging branches.
"All I saw was branches and I ducked for cover - ain't no lie, [I had] no bravery in that moment," said Robert Nantenga after the crash.
The boat lost control and wound up on the shore. A passenger hurt her foot and the driver suffered a gash on his head.
MedStar was called to the scene, but the man and woman injured refused to be treated.
