The U.S. Geological Survey confirmed a 2.5 magnitude earthquake was followed by a 2.3 magnitude quake Saturday morning in Irving.

The epicenter of the first earthquake was centered off Manana Drive and Interstate 35 East at 4:34 a.m., and a second quake was along the 500 block of East John W. Carpenter Freeway in Irving, according to the USGS.

Irving police dispatch said they didn’t receive any calls on the quake. Several people did reach out to NBCDFW to say they felt the early morning tremor.

This quake follows 1.8 magnitude earthquake recorded on Aug. 31 along with two earthquakes on Aug. 25 that occurred within 45 minutes of one another and were located 1.2 miles apart.
