Two teens have been charged with breaking into their Southeast Texas school and stealing more than $250,000 worth of iPads and laptops.

KHOU-TV reported Wednesday that Wharton County sheriff's deputies say the teens tried to sell a stolen laptop but the potential buyer contacted officers.

Sgt. Joe Ray Jones said school security video posted to social media led to tips. The boys -- ages 15 and 16 -- were arrested on juvenile burglary, theft and criminal mischief charges. More than 100 electronic devices were recovered.

Names of the minors and further details on custody haven't been released.
