Ted Cruz, John Cornyn Join Together for Rally in Dallas

At a campaign stop in Dallas, Sen. Ted Cruz said he had a message for the caravan of Central American migrants who are heading north: "Turn around and go back where you came from."

Cruz and Sen. John Cornyn appeared together at a rally at Gilly's Wednesday morning.

The stop was part of Cruz's early voting bus tour across Texas.

With less than two weeks to go until Election Day, Cruz contrasted his record with his opponent Rep. Beto O'Roarke, claiming the El Paso Democrat is running "to the left" of Bernie Sanders and Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

Cruz also boasted of the booming economy.

The senator encouraged his supporters to donate to his campaign, noting O'Roarke has outraised him by three times.

"We're going to win this race," Cruz said.

After a surge in voter registration in Texas, there is strong voter turnout reported in the first days of early voting. The election is Nov. 6.
