Time to get your kung-fu on! Fans of Hong Kong action films, dramas, documentaries, comedies, independent releases and horror flicks (remember director Takashi Miike's βAuditionβ? -- eek!) will line up for the 8th Annual Asian Film Festival this month.
This yearβs lineup includes films from Japan, China, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, the Philippines, Vietnam and the U.S. This is a chance to see films that wonβt be screened again in Dallas.
Opening night features the Hong Kong police thriller βBeast Stalkerβ whereas closing night will feature the Chinese historical blockbuster βIp Man.β The centerpiece film of the festival is the documentary βKimjongiliaβ.
