Woman Dies in Forney After She's Run Over by Her Own Car

A 73-year-old woman died early Monday when her car ran over her in Forney.It's not known why Ruth Brown got out of her vehicle before the accident occurred, said her boss, Sandra Willis."It looked like she stepped in front of her car and didn't put it all the way in park," Willis said. "It ran over her foot and pulled her underneath."Forney police had not responded to a request for futher information Monday afternoon.Brown was an independent contractor who delivered The Dallas Morning News.Willis said she last saw Brown about 3:30 a.m. as they delivered newspapers.
