Woman, Child Wounded in Fort Worth Shooting

A woman and child were wounded in a shooting early Sunday in Fort Worth, police said. Officers responding to a call about 12:45 a.m. found the wounded woman in a vehicle in front of a residence in the 5800 block of Hiett Court.A young child inside the home had been shot in the finger, Officer Daniel Segura said. The woman and child were in stable condition when they were taken to a hospital. Witnesses told police a vehicle drove away after the shooting, but it wass unclear whether the shots were fired from inside the vehicle, Segura said. No arrests have been made.   Continue reading...
