Warm and Windy

Thursday will be warm and windy. High temperatures will be in the 80s with south winds gusting over 40 mph.The chance for storms will return Friday. There could be a brief round in the morning, and another round is possible later in the day. The threat for severe weather will depend on where the dry line (separation between the humid air to the east and dry air to the west) sets up. We will either have a shot at a few strong to severe storms, or it's going to be a windy and hot afternoon. Right now, it appears the best chance for storms will be east of DFW Friday afternoon.
