UPS Driver Found Dead Outside Truck on Side of Forney Highway

Police are looking for leads after a UPS driver was found dead on the side of the highway in Forney. Shortly after midnight May 27, a caller told Forney police that a UPS truck was stopped alongside westbound U.S. Highway 80 near the FM 548 exit. As officers headed to that way, more calls came in reporting that someone was on the ground at the location. Police found 53-year-old Rogelio Flores, of Abilene, dead outside the UPS truck. Anyone with more information about the incident is asked to call Forney police at 972-564-7607. Anonymous tips may be made to Kaufman County Crime Stoppers at 877- 847-7522.
