Tulsa Man Who Told Undercover Fort Worth Cop ‘I Love Young Girls' Gets 10 Years in Prison

An Oklahoma man who traveled to Fort Worth to have sex with someone he thought was a 13-year-old girl was sentenced Monday to 10 years in federal prison, officials announced. Elias Omar Santamaria, 39, pleaded guilty in April to one count of enticement of a minor. He has been in custody since his arrest in February, and will be deported after he is released from prison, U.S. Attorney John Parker said in a written statement. In March 2016, Santamaria sent a message to an undercover Fort Worth police officer posing as a 13-year-old girl saying "add me sweetie. I love young girls," according to case documents. During their conversations, Santamaria said he wanted to have sex, and they agreed to meet in Fort Worth. He was taken into custody when he arrived.Police searched his vehicle and found condoms, a bottle of tequila, and a pair of Nike Air Jordan's that he had promised to bring, Parker said.   Continue reading...
