Texas State Suspends 4 Fraternities for Party Where Burleson Student Was Dragged by Bus, Killed

Texas State University has suspended four fraternities for violations that it says occurred during a party in which a Burleson student was killed. Freshman Jordin Taylor, 20, was dragged 500 feet under a shuttle bus that was leaving a party at a music and river tubing venue near San Marcos in October. That event was hosted by the Zeta Theta chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.Alpha Tau Omega, Kappa Alpha Order and Delta Tau Delta also were involved in the Oct. 28 Halloween party at Cool River Ranch, a university spokesman told the Austin-American Statesman.  Continue reading...
