Tarrant County Man Gets Life in Prison for Botched Murder-suicide That Left Girlfriend Disabled

A Tarrant County man was recently sentenced to life in prison for a botched murder-suicide attempt in Dalworthington Gardens last year that left his girlfriend disabled. Donald Dwayne Graves was found guilty of aggravated assault of a family member with a weapon, the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney's Office announced Wednesday. Graves' girlfriend, Debbie Ransom, called 911 Feb. 20, 2016 after he threatened to shoot her.
