Sign up for our newsletters here.Dallas mother blames T-Mobile for baby's deathA Dallas mother blamed T-Mobile for the death of her 6-month-old child in a lawsuit filed Monday.In the lawsuit, Bridget Alex argues that her son Brandon Alex would not have died from a fall injury had T-Mobile implemented technology and services that would have allowed his babysitter's 911 call to go through to Dallas' emergency call center. The babysitter, who has a T-Mobile/MetroPCS phone, called 911 three times and was on hold for about 40 minutes, according to the suit.Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings, who said after Brandon's death that he was "outraged at T-Mobile," also acknowledged that the 911 problems were also partially due to a shortage of call takers.  Continue reading...
