South Texas Police Officer Found Dead at Shooting Range

A South Texas police officer was found with a fatal gunshot wound Tuesday at a Laredo shooting range used by law enforcement personnel.A U.S. Border Patrol agent discovered the body of Lt. David Medina about 4 p.m. at the range, officials told KGNS-TV.Medina, an officer with the Laredo school district for about 12 years, died of a single gunshot wound to the chest, according to the Webb County Sheriff’s Department.The Sheriff's Department is investigating the death but said it is not looking for any suspects.
