Residents in Lancaster and DeSoto experienced an unwanted wakeup call Tuesday morning after a malfunction set off severe warning sirens in the area.The sirens sounded around 2:20 a.m. and didn't go silent sometime after 3, but unlike Saturday morning, there was no severe weather in the area."The Emergency Outdoor Warning Sirens have malfunctioned and are automatically sounding.
