Senior at Carter-Riverside High School Dies After Crash, Fort Worth Police Say

A senior at Amon Carter-Riverside High School died Wednesday after being in a crash, Fort Worth police said. Officers responded to the incident Tuesday night in the 3500 block of North Beach Street, on the border of Fort Worth and Haltom City, The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. Police have not released more details on the incident. Leonel Garcia, 17, was transported to a hospital where he died just before 3 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner.He played baseball on the high school's varsity team, according to MaxPreps.com.   Continue reading...
