Second Suspect Arrested in Attack of Dallas Theater Director Outside Target

A teenager has been arrested in connection with the assault of a Dallas theater director outside an Old East Dallas Target, police said. Zantrell Sauls, 17, was taken into custody about 5:15 p.m. Monday. He will be charged with aggravated assault. Sauls is the second person to be arrested in the attack on 33-year-old Derek Whitener who was beaten Jan. 14 with a wooden rod as he left the Cityplace Target in the 2400 block of Haskell Avenue.  Continue reading...
