Road Rage Suspect Fled After Shooting 1 Near Waffle House in North Richland Hills, Police Say

A road rage suspect fled after shooting one person in North Richland Hills overnight, police said. Officers were dispatched to a man with a gunshot wound close to a Waffle House restaurant in the 7600 block of Boulevard 26, near Interstate 820 and State Highway 183, just after 2:15 a.m. Wednesday. Few details are currently available, but the preliminary investigation reveals that it was likely a road rage incident, police said. The victim, a 33-year-old man, was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect vehicle is described as a white mid-size SUV with a driver who was wearing a white baseball cap.
