The Texas Rangers are investigating the death of a teacher as a homicide after her body was found near a North Texas lake Sunday morning. Manuela Allen, 49, was found dead about 9:30 a.m. near Lake Cooper, less than 10 miles from Olney, the town where she lived about 130 miles northwest of Dallas.
