An officer was injured in a crash Wednesday night in Far Northeast Dallas. The officer, who was traveling east on Miller Road in a squad car, turned left onto Plano Road as a 19-year-old was driving west on Miller Road, Dallas police spokeswoman Melinda Gutierrez said. They crashed in the intersection just before 8:30 p.m. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the officer to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
