Police Arrest Murder Suspect After Gambling at South Dallas Home Ends in Bloodshed

Police have arrested a Balch Springs man accused of killing a man while gambling at a South Dallas house in September.Marlow Marshall, 22, was booked last week on a murder charge in the Sept. 10 shooting death of Kai Webb, court documents show.Just before the killing, around 9 p.m., Marshall arrived at a Carpenter Avenue home to gamble, with a handgun tucked into his waistband, a witness told police. Minutes later, the witness said, Marshall drew the gun and shot Webb in the torso.Witnesses could not tell police what led to the bloodshed, and the gunman fled after the shooting.Webb was taken to Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, where he died. A witness later picked Marshall out of a photo lineup, identifying him as the shooter.
