Oak Lawn United Methodist Church Offers Sanctuary to Homeless as Temperatures Drop

As temperatures plunged this week, Oak Lawn United Methodist Church opened its doors to homeless men and women in need of shelter. Patricia Jones, an administrator at Oak Lawn UMC, said the church is happy to offer a helping hand."Most people that come in just want a place to lay their heads," she said.
