A North Richland Hills officer and dog were injured Monday night in a shooting, officials say. The shooting occurred before 9 p.m. at Caracas and Trinidad drives, near Iron Horse Boulevard. Police did not provide the officer's condition.The suspect was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. The police K9 was also struck and taken to be treated, police said.
