New Apartment Community on the Way Near University of Dallas in Irving

Apartment builder JPI has started construction on an Irving project - its 10th rental community in the area.JPI's Jefferson Texas Plaza apartments will have 282 units and is located off Loop 12.The 9-acre development is close to Irving's convention center and the Toyota Music Factory complex."We are excited to continue strengthening our presence in Las Colinas, delivering another community that residents will be proud to call home," Brad Taylor, JPI's chief development officer, said in a statement. "Las Colinas is a thriving submarket that has undergone tremendous economic growth within the last several years. New developments, such as the Pavilion at the Toyota Music Factory and other retail entities, have made Las Colinas a popular and lively destination where people can truly live, work and play."The new rental community will include a resort-style pool, premium parking in private garages, a fitness and yoga studio, a coffee bar and dog park. A pedestrian trail will connect the new apartments to the University of Dallas.Irving-based JPI is the most active apartment builder in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with 5,000 rental units under construction."This is our 10th community in the Irving-Las Colinas submarket," said Matt Brendel, divisional president and managing partner at JPI.
