Neighbor's Tip About Home Burglary Leads Police to Arrest Teen Duo With Pellet Gun

Arlington police arrested two teenagers after an observant neighbor tipped them off to a burglary in progress last week.Jerardo Morales, 19, and Wences Zamarripa, 18, each face a charge of burglary of a habitation.Police say the two forced their way into a home in the 500 block of Country Wood Court around 10 a.m. Friday. Officers were able to surround the residence after the neighbor reported the break-in.In their attempt to flee, one of the pair threw a replica pellet gun at an officer who was handcuffing the other teen, police spokesman Steven Bartolotta said.Police are investigating whether the pair may be connected with any other burglaries.
