NBC5 Forecast: Windy With a Chance of Storms

Very windy and warm weather is expected today with a chance for storms. There could be a brief round in the morning, and another round is possible later in the day. Afternoon storms will likely be isolated, but a couple could be severe. The threat for severe weather will depend on where the dryline (separation between the humid air to the east and dry air to the west) sets up. We will either have a shot at a few strong to severe storms, or it's going to be a windy and hot afternoon. Right now, it appears the best chance for storms will be east of DFW Friday afternoon.
