NBC5 Forecast: Tornado Watch Until 11 Pm

A Tornado Watch is in effect until 11 p.m. for the following counties: Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Delta, Denton, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Hood, Hunt, Jack, Johnson, Kaufman, Lamar, Montague, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell, Tarrant, Wise.More storms are expected Friday evening into Saturday morning. The greatest risk for severe storms in DFW will be between 7 and 10 pm. The tornado threat will be greater west of Fort Worth, with hail and high winds more likely in DFW. Widespread rain will continue into Saturday morning, but those storms are not expected to be severe. Sunday looks partly sunny and pleasant.Looking ahead to early next week, another system will bring a renewed chance for storms Monday evening into Tuesday morning, but again the severe risk appears limited at that time.
