NBC 5 Forecast: Showers Today, Storms Tomorrow

Thick fog is expected for areas southwest of DFW to start out Tuesday. A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until noon (counties southwest of DFW).Scattered showers and an occasional thunderstorm will be possible across North Texas on Tuesday. It won't rain the whole time, in fact there will be several dry hours.Later this evening and overnight tonight much of West Texas will be dealing with severe weather. This threat will drift toward DFW early Wednesday morning. A line of strong thunderstorms will move across North Texas from west to east and is expected to impact the DFW area from 4-9 am Wednesday. Gusty winds and heavy rain are likely.Once we get to Wednesday afternoon, the rest of the week and next weekend look pretty good. It will be a little cooler than normal for that stretch, but it will also be dry. TODAY: Thick fog to the southwest of DFW.
