NBC 5 Forecast: Cold Tonight, Then Warmer

We got within one degree of a record low temperature again this morning (21° at DFW Airport), but tonight will be the last night we will have sub-freezing temperatures ... possibly for the rest of winter! Warmer weather returns to North Texas for the rest of the week and through the first half of the weekend. Highs will be in the middle 50s Wednesday. On Thursday, highs jump to near 70°! We will stay in the 70s Friday and Saturday before the next cold front moves into the area.The best chance for storms will be on Saturday ... mainly during the first half of the day. Some storms may have a little kick to them, so please be weather aware. Any storms will clear out by early Saturday afternoon. We will have another shot at some storms next Tuesday as well.
