Mitch McConnell's Message: Only White Men Matter

Six weeks ago, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell created a 13-member working group to draft the Senate's version of a bill to replace the Affordable Care Act. The working group's members are: McConnell, John Cornyn, R-Texas, John Thune, R-South Dakota, John Barrasso, R-Wyoming, Lamar Alexander, R-Tennessee, Mike Enzi, R-Wyoming, Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, Ted Cruz, R-Texas, Mike Lee, R-Utah, Tom Cotton, R-Arkansas, Cory Gardner, R-Colorado, Rob Portman, R-Ohio, and Pat Toomey, R-Pennsylvania.All are Republicans; McConnell did not even make a token gesture toward bipartisanship.
