Medical Examiner Identifies 27-year-old Man Fatally Shot by DPS Troopers in South Dallas

Officials have released the name of the Dallas man who was fatally shot by Texas Department of Public Safety troopers Saturday night near Fair Park. Schaston Theodore Lamarr Hodge, 27, died from gunshot wounds about 11:40 p.m. Saturday, according to the Dallas County medical examiner's office.It was unclear how many times he'd been shot. His autopsy report has not been completed, the medical examiner's office said Hodge was shot after two troopers tried to pull him over for a traffic violation near Elsie Faye Heggins Street in South Dallas, according to the DPS.   Continue reading...
