Man Shot Dead During Drug Deal Gone Bad in West Oak Cliff

A 37-year-old man was shot to death after trying to rob another person during a drug deal in west Oak Cliff, police said.Officers found Tom Parker's body at about 7 p.m. Saturday on the front lawn of a home in the 900 block of Zeb Street, near the intersection of Clarendon Drive and Hampton Road. Dallas police said Parker died at the scene after he and the suspect both fired shots.Police have not named the suspect. They seized money, drugs and guns during the call.Three cars were towed from the scene.  Continue reading...
