Man Injured in Confrontation, Shooting at Red Bird Apartment Complex

A man was injured in a shooting as he was returning to his Red Bird apartment Thursday night, Dallas police said.The man told police someone approached him around 11:30 p.m. in the 6000 block of Preferred Place. A scuffle broke out and the suspect fired on the victim, injuring him.The victim then ran to another apartment and asked for help. He was taken to an area hospital with injuries that weren't considered life-threatening.The suspect fled and is still at large, police said. No description is available.  Continue reading...
