Man in Serious Condition After Frisco House Fire

One person was seriously injured in a Frisco house fire early Monday.Authorities were alerted around 2:20 a.m. to a fire in the 7400 block of Independence Parkway, near Main Street. When firefighters arrived several minutes later, the house was ablaze, with heavy smoke billowing from it.A male resident, the only person in the home at the time, was taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation and was in serious condition. No one else was injured.Firefighters had the blaze under control by 3 a.m.The cause of the fire is under investigation.  Continue reading...
