Man Accused in Triple-slaying in Houston Captured in Dallas

A man was arrested in Dallas on Sunday in connection with the slayings of three people at a Houston home Friday afternoon. Dallas police arrested Jeffrey Noble, 35, late Sunday. He was suspected in the deaths of John Sciandra, 67, Jessica Sciandra, 22, and Jordan Collier, 25. It's unclear how the three were related.The three victims were fatally shot about 4:30 p.m. Friday at a home in the 15700 block of Creekhvaen Drive in west Harris County, the sheriff's department said. John and Jessica Sciandra had been shot in the head, according to the Harris County medical examiner.Several witnesses told deputies they saw a man fleeing the scene in a red Acura immediately after the shooting, the sheriff's department said. Officials said a motive had not been determined. Noble, who is listed in the Dallas County Jail log as a Dallas resident, has been charged with capital murder. Bail has been set at $888,888 for that charge. He was also charged with evading arrest or detention, failure to identify and possession of a controlled substance.  Continue reading...
