New Shepard is going on its eight mission on Sunday when it's launched from Blue Origin's pad in Van Horn. The launch is planned for 8:30 a.m. CT and will be live streamed, Bezos said in a Tweet Friday. Blue Origin is one of Bezos' personal passions and he talked about why he created the company and got involved in a space travel while in Dallas last Friday when he spoke at a Bush Center and Southern Methodist University event where he was a keynote. He is trying to create a reusable rocket to advance space travel.
