Historic Highland Park Estate Hits the Market

A historic Highland Park estate is coming up for sale.It will be the first time in more than a century that the house at 4009 Armstrong Avenue on Turtle Creek is being offered for sale outside the same family.Allie Beth Allman & Associates is listing the house for sale at $18 million.Highland Park's first elected mayor W.O. Connor bought the property just south of Preston Road in 1913.The current house was built in 1941 and renovated in 2005.With 8,331 square feet, the home has five bedrooms and five and a half baths.The house has a library, a paneled den with fireplace and an upstairs family room with fireplace."The property is a true gem and offers 1.62 acres in the heart of Highland Park," said Allie Beth Allman's Christine McKenny.
