‘Glee' Star From Dallas Pleads Guilty to Having More Than 50,000 Images of Child Porn

A former star of the Fox television series Glee pleaded guilty Monday to possessing thousands of images of child pornography.Mark Salling, 35, reached a plea agreement earlier this year with federal prosecutors, who will ask a judge to sentence him to between four and seven years in prison. He will also have to register as a sex offender.Salling downloaded more than 50,000 explicit pictures and videos in 2015 and tried to conceal his IP address while doing so, authorities said. But he was arrested after showing his collection to a girlfriend, who reported him to police.According to court documents, the pornography was "highly organized by file name and folder structure" that indicated the age of the victim. Additionally, Salling had "a manual that instructs adult men how to have" intercourse with young girls.He is set to be sentenced in March.Salling, who grew up in Dallas and attended Lake Highlands High School, played bad boy Noah "Puck" Puckerman on Glee from 2009 to 2015.  Continue reading...
