‘Girl in the Closet' Lauren Kavanaugh Told Police to ‘arrest Me!' After Admitting Sex With Teen

A sexually explicit Facebook conversation that Lauren Kavanaugh had with a 14-year-old girl led police to arrest the so-called "Girl in the Closet," a victim of childhood sexual abuse herself.Kavanaugh, 25, confessed to having sex with the teen and told a Lewisville police detective to "arrest me!" last month when she was taken into custody on a charge of sexual assault of a child, an arrest warrant affidavit obtained this week reveals.The affidavit, filed in Lewisville municipal court and recently unsealed by a judge, details sex acts the two engaged in while Kavanaugh was living with the teen's family at a Lewisville motel from Nov. 1 to Dec. 17, when she was arrested.Kavanaugh's attorney could not be reached for comment Wednesday or Thursday morning.  Continue reading...
