Get Ready: Dallas-Fort Worth Could Hit 100 Degrees Tuesday Afternoon

Dallas-Fort Worth has been spared from triple-digit heat so far this summer, but that could change as soon as Tuesday afternoon.Temperatures are forecast to stay in the low 90s on Monday, but on Tuesday the region could hit the century mark for the first time in more than 330 days, according to KXAS-TV (NBC5) meteorologist Grant Johnston.Monday “will be the least hot of the next several days,” Johnston said. Although Tropical Depression Barry is centered more than 300 miles away from Dallas-Fort Worth, the system will help bring in a light northwest wind to North Texas, delaying the high heat for one more day, according to Johnston.   Continue reading...
