Freight Train Derails in Downtown Irving, Shuts Down Part of Pioneer Drive

A freight train that derailed in downtown Irving overnight caused part of Pioneer Drive to be shut down.Crews blocked off the area near Main Street and began working early Wednesday morning to clear the scene, Tim Ciesco of KXAS-TV (NBC5) reports.They towed one train car away and got another upright before 7 a.m.There have been no reports of injuries.
