Fort Worth Woman Shot Boyfriend After He Threatened Her, Police Say

A south Fort Worth woman shot her boyfriend in self-defense Wednesday morning, she told police.Police were called to a home in the 3300 block of Clovermeadow Drive, near McCart Avenue and Sycamore School Road, just before 11 a.m. The pair had been arguing when the man threatened to harm her and went downstairs to get knives, she told police.While he was downstairs, she grabbed the gun they kept in the house and show him several times, hitting him in the arm and torso, police said.Family violence detectives are interviewing the woman, whose name was not released.Her boyfriend was undergoing surgery at John Peter Smith Hospital.  Continue reading...
