Feeling More Like October

After setting a new record high temperature at DFW Airport earlier today, we now look forward to the cold front moving across North Texas this evening and tonight. The front will also help to generate a few showers and storms, but there will liklely only be a thin line of storms. Some storms could have some gusty winds with them, but widespread severe weather is not expected. Any storms that develop will quickly move out and we will be left with strong NW winds bringing much cooler air into the area. By Tuesday morning, most areas will be down in the 50s. Unfortunately, we won't stay cool for long. By Thursday, we'll be back up in the mid 80s and low 90s for Friday and Saturday. TONIGHT: A 30% chance of evening storms then partly cloudy, windy, and much cooler. Low: 55. Wind: NW 15-25 mph. TUESDAY: Windy in the morning, then the wind and clouds will both decrease the rest of the day. Much cooler. High: 70. Wind: NW 15-25 mph dropping off to 10-15 mph in the afternoon. WEDNESDAY: Chilly in the morning then sunny and comfortably cool. Low: 49. High: 75. Wind: N 5-10 mph. THURSDAY: Sunny and quickly warming back up. Low: 55. High: 85. Wind: S 10 mph. FRIDAY: Mostly sunny and very warm. Low: 65. High: 88. Wind: S 10 mph. SATURDAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy and very warm. Low: 67. High: 90. Wind: S 10-15 mph. SUNDAY: Partly cloudy and very warm with a 20% chance of thunderstorms. Low: 71. High: 87. Wind: SW shifting to NW 10-15 mph. MONDAY: Partly cloudy and comfortable. Low: 58. High: 78.
