Dog About Town: Splash Around With Your Pooch

This year's doggy swim season, when area pools invite pooches in before they close, are continuing this weekend. Dogs must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and friendly, and we recommend bringing a doggy life jacket.Dog Day Afternoon: Dallas' event, from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, is at Everglade Pool this year, with swimsuit, doggy paddle and splash contests. Splash Day in Richardson: This year's party at Terrace Pool, which is sloped at one end for easy access, is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. The lineup includes concessions and nail clipping.
