Denton High School Teacher Had Sex With Student Her Classroom, Police Say

A John H. Guyer High School teacher turned herself in to Denton police amid accusations that she'd had sex with a 17-year-old student in her classroom.Chemistry teacher and aquatics coach Jeana Frye Wesson, 46, was charged with improper relationship between educator and student.She was booked into the Denton city jail Thursday morning.About a month ago, the accuser told police Wesson sent him inappropriate messages and performed a sexual act with him in her classroom in 2017, when he was a 17-year-old student, Denton police said.Her staff bio has been removed from the Denton ISD website. Denton ISD and John H. Guyer High School officials did not immediately return requests for comment.Wesson is certified to teach biology and secondary science to students in grades 6-12.Her bail had not yet been set Thursday afternoon.  Continue reading...
